The stay at Children’s has been very great so far - every nurse has been super sweet and the surgeons stop by to see how Hannah is doing. Tim and I have made every morning rounds that we can and Hannah’s reports have been very good - the Surgical Director calls her a Superstar or All-Star each morning, and of course I beam.
There’s a great program called Child Life that makes sure our experience is positive. They gave us a cute NICU calendar with stickers to document each day. They take photos of Hannah and us and post them up in our pod. They also made Nora a Big Sister book to take home so she can look at pictures of Hannah and know what Hannah needs there. So cute!
We have those same calendars, but WOW!, I am blown away by the Big Sister book! How special & how perfect!
